DSCN3921For my mum’s birthday I gave her a self-made voucher for a breakfast in Saint Tropez. As we are always spending our summer at the Côte d’Azur this seemed to be a great present. As I wanted it to be something special I thought about the options St. Tropez has to offer. Something like Le Club 55 which is very famous and popular seemed to be a cool idea but I thought this would be better for dinner in the evening as they have some delicious dishes for dinner on the menu. So I would keep this on my ‘to do list’ for the next time. For a breakfast I had a better idea! Being a huge fan of fashion and designers and as Saint Tropez is my favourite city at the French Riviera I had to go for a breakfast at Dior des Lices. I have walked past this café lots of times in the past but I never actually had coffee, drinks or even lunch/dinner there. When I told my mum about the place I said “you really like the movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s, right!? What do you think about Breakfast at Dior’s?”. She loved the idea so on a Sunday morning we got up early, jumped into our car and went on a road trip along the coast of the beautiful French Riviera to the little village of Saint Tropez.

Dior des Lices

Dior des Lices is located right in the city centre on 13, rue François Sibilli. It is the street where high-end brands like Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino and Jimmy Choo have their stores. Dior des Lices is like a little garden within the city. There is a lawn with a lot of beautiful flowers and trees and other decorations like the famous ‘Dior sign’ which has been posted on several Instagram accounts of many famous bloggers. It is such a beautiful place, so calm and peaceful like a little magic garden.

My mum and I went for the full breakfast. I had the typical sweet version and my mum also got a bowl of scrambled eggs on top of the sweetness. The breakfast consisted of different bread rolls such as a little baguette, chocolate and raisin rolls, a sweet bread and a croissant. Then there was a selection of spreads: orange jam, strawberry jam, apricot jam, honey and chocolate mousse. For drinks we could choose any kind of coffee and a freshly pressed juice from the bar that was also located in the little garden area.

My favourite thing was the cappuccino with the Dior logo sprinkled on top of it and the juice! It was sooo good!!

After the amazing breakfast we also went to see the store of Dior which is located above the garden in a beautiful mansion.

Having Breakfast at Dior’s was amazing! If you are in Saint Tropez or go there in the future I would really recommend a visit. It is a little bit more expensive than other cafés but the experience is definitely worth it!
