Everybody in London is currently talking about the new must-visit location…the Sky Garden. My London friend messaged me that the Sky Garden is a new rooftop bar that has openend recently. It is located on 20 Fenchurch Street (tube station: Monument) – among Londoners better known as the “Walkie Talkie”. I told my friend that we definitely have to visit the bar next time I’m in London. Being a huge fan of rooftop bars I’ve already visited two of them during my internship in London:
1. SUSHISAMBA
SUSHISAMBA is a Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian restaurant and bar located on the 38th and 39th floors of London’s Heron Tower at 110 Bishopsgate (tube station: Liverpool Street). The food as well as the cocktails are more than good and the view is stunning, especially at night. Everything is quite pricey but you also pay for the view and I think it’s absolutely worth it for a girl’s night out with some exclusive cocktails and a beautiful view over London. When I was there I had a cocktail with a bit of popcorn flavour. I had to try it and it was actually better than expected!

2. Paramount
I got to know the Paramount bar & restaurant when one of the other interns celebrated his leaving drinks. The bar can be found in the Centre Point tower on 103 New Oxford Street (tube station: Tottemham Court Road), so right in the city centre. I also wanted to post the link of their website for you guys but unfortunately Paramount has been closed. What a pity! I hope you already had the chance to visit the bar in the past years. I just booked tickets for the Sky Garden for my next London trip. I’m going to be back in LDN on 5 April for four days!!! I’m already so excited because that will already be in seven days!! That means #LLLgoestoLondon 🙂 so keep your eyes peeled for some new London adventures!
