Mieroglyphs

I finally have some time to tell you more about my collaboration with the Florida based jewellery brand Mieroglyphs. One day their Brand Visibility Specialist emailed me to ask if I would like to become a brand ambassador and I immediately said yes because I love their products. Why? Because they are unique. I love unique things. Everyone who knows me knows that I’m always looking for something special when on city trips like for example one day I bought a beautiful Olivia Burton watch in London because you don’t get them in Germany or I ordered a necklace from the L.A. brand Bones+Feathers (blog post here). So when I heard about Mieroglyphs and their vegan cork bracelets with a personal inscription I knew I wanted to have one (or two in my case 😉 ).

But let me tell you a bit more about the brand. The brand name is explained as follows: “A word we created while studying the Ancient Egyptian’s formal writing system Hieroglyphs. Every Miero is your personal hieroglyph. It’s ‘my-roglyph’.” All bracelets are handcrafted in Orlando, Florida and besides that they are vegan and cruelty-free. Doesn’t that all sound great? I think it absolutely does! Mieroglyphs bracelets are a perfect gift for friends or family because with the engraving it is very personal and unique. Choose your favorite quote, a name, a date etc. and make your gift special. It could also be a gift to yourself as the bracelets are perfect for everyone. Maybe you have a personal message you want to carry with you every day. I actually love it that the engraving is on the inside of the bracelet because that makes it more personal.

I have chosen the classic cork bracelets (although they have lots of colorful variations on offer) because I think this is a material you can hardly get somewhere in the jewellery industry. My first bracelet has the engraving “If you can dream it, you can do it.” which is a quote of Walt Disney. I just love this quote because since I was a little child I always dreamt about what my goals in life are and what is on my bucket list so this quote makes me feel like you can actually reach your goals and live your dreams. I surely think that it is possible and I will work hard for my dreams to become true. One of them is to live and work in Los Angeles after university so I will do everything to make this happen 🙂 The other bracelet has an Italian engraving. It says: “Io sono nata per sognare e tu per essere il mio sogno più bello!” which means “I’m born to dream and you for being my most beautiful dream”. I know that it might sound a little bit girly and kitschy for some of you but I love it. I think it is sooo cute 😉
