Just WOW! I was actually speechless when I saw this beautiful beach and sunset in Malibu. The beach that I’m talking about and that is so breathtaking is called El Matador State Beach. I’ve heard about this beach before, probably through Instagram but when I googled the most beautiful beaches in Los Angeles this one was clearly the number one of the must see beaches.
Can you see why? It really is so so beautiful!!!
It is located about 10 miles northwest of Malibu and if you take the Pacific Coast Highway from LA you already get rewarded with the stunning and panoramic views over the Pacific ocean on the way to the beach so make sure to take that road.
Discover Los Angeles says it “has rocky shores, robust waves and some of the clearest water in LA” and they also put it in the “hopeless romantic” category. I totally agree because it is a natural beach with hidden coves and the perfect place for romantic beach walks and amazing sunrises and sunsets with the famous pink (and yellow and orange) skies.
It is such a dreamy place, a real Californian dream 🙂
