Bones+Feathers Collective, Los Angeles

In this blog post I would like to introduce you to a brand from one of my favourite cities in the world, which is (as you all probably know 😉 ) Los Angeles. People who know me know that I’m always looking for something special to buy in my favourite cities so Bones+Feathers Collective is the perfect example. A couple of months ago I discovered the brand through none other than Tori Kelly, one of my favourite singers. One day I’ve read on Twitter or Instagram that Tori collaborated with Bones+Feathers Collective and that she designed this beautiful necklace together with the B+FC team.

Since I’m a huge fan of Tori Kelly and love Los Angeles (probably way too much haha) this was the perfect combination, so I had to order myself this necklace and have been wearing it a lot of times since I got it. I just love the simplicity of it. The pendants are simple but the feather is meaningful for both of them. The feather is not only Tori’s trademark but also part of the brand’s name.

But now let me tell you a bit more about the brand and its history. Bones+Feathers Collective was founded in Los Angeles in 2010. Natalie Mauro and Cole Morrall teamed up to eastablish a brand together and to design so many beautiful pieces which you can all find on their website. I left a part of my heart in the City of Angeles so wearing my necklace from Bones+Feathers Collective always reminds me of the beautiful und unforgettable time I’ve spent there (you can read all about my L.A. adventures here. For me jewellery has kinda the same impact on me like music. I always associate songs with places I’ve travelled and it’s now the B+FC necklace that brings back all my happy L.A. memories :-). Thanks for that B+FC team!! Have you ever had this moment when you listen to a song and suddenly a particular and familiar feeling arises? It’s just the best feeling ever and it’s the magic of music or in this case also a piece of jewellery that lets you turn back time and have this feeling again. Do you know what I mean?
