CIMG6390As North London is one of my favourite areas in London I wanted to explore this part a bit more. Places like Primrose Hill, Hampstead or St. John’s Wood are areas where most of the celebrities live. People like Jude Law, Kate Moss, Harry Styles or Paul McCartney.
If you’re lucky you might meet one of them in the queue in a supermarket or if you take a stroll through Primrose Hill or Hampstead Heath on a Sunday morning. Always keep your eyes open when you’re out and about in North London.

When I was in London for my internship in 2012 I googled something like “Celebrity Tour London” and I immediately found the website The Celebrity Planet. They offered a two-hour guided walk (£ 20.00) to famous places mainly in North London. I asked another intern if she would like to join me and she said yes. We booked the tour online and the next weekend we made our way to the Sherlock Holmes Museum where we should meet our guide. Unfortunately they do not offer this tour anymore but you can check out their website for tours like The Beatles London Walking Tour, Harry Potter London Locations Walk or Princess Diana’s London. They also offer Chauffeur Driven Tours but they are a lot more expensive.

Now I would like to show you where our guide led us:

Here are some of the houses where John Lennon used to live. The so called Blue Plaques can be found throughout London and show where famous people lived.

Of course we also went to the famous Abbey Road…

Madonna bought two adjoining house and hardly lives there. This is what happens when people have too much money.

The wedding at the beginning of the movie “Love Actually” takes places at the Grosvenor Chapel. Do you remember the scene?

Guy Ritchie used to be the owner of the pub The Punch Bowl

This is a club where many celebrities like to party. I think it was somewhere in Mayfair but unfortunately I don’t remember the name. Prince Harry or Kate Moss are regular guests there. If you know the club please comment the name down below or tweet me.

This is the house where Princess Diana spent her last night in London before she headed to Paris where she died during a car accident.

Our last stop was Carnaby Street. The famous Trident Sound Studios are located in this area of London.

Have you ever done such a tour in London? If so, please let me know 🙂

Have a great Sunday everyone!

xx
