On our second day in London I left my parents and my sister for a few hours and met my friend I was talking about in this post. We both did an internship at the same tour operator in 2012 and spent a lot of time doing fun things together in London. It was amazing to meet her again after 2 1/2 years and it was like we’ve only met yesterday. We sat down at a café in Covent Garden and made our way to some sights while we were talking about literally everything because we had to catch up on so many things.

The second day was a lot sunnier so I was able to take some nice photos.

After tea and coffee we went to Trafalgar Square…

After about 2 1/2 hours it was time to say goodbye to my friend Jenni (to check out her blog click here). I hope that I’ll meet her again very soon.

I met my family near Buckingham Palace and then we hopped on a bus to 20 Fenchurch Street. Can you guess why? Yes, we went to the Walkie Talkie Tower to visit the Sky Garden. I’m going to write a blog post about that next Sunday. So stay updated guys! Here’s a little sneak peak…

The view was stunning! But I’ll show and tell you more about it in my next post. After the Sky Garden my family and I went back to the Tower Bridge and just enjoyed being in London.

In the evening my sister and I met our London friend Laura. We walked through the city to Covent Garden for dinner. It was amazing to see her again as well. We always meet her when we’re in London and it’s so cool to know someone who was born and bred in London. She knows so much about her city and she shows us new places everytime we meet her…pubs, bars and restaurants only locals know and visit. That’s so great!

That’s it for today 🙂 Don’t forget to leave me a comment or tweet and follow me on Twitter.

Have a great Sunday!

xx
