A Sentier du Littoral is a path along a cape. Last year we walked along the cape of Saint Tropez. It was so beautiful. This year we decided to try the one near Monaco. The Sentier is located in Cap d’Ail. We parked our car at the train station and made our way to the ocean. One tip: if you have never been to Cap d’Ail and you would like to walk the Sentier du Littoral you have to find a parking space which isn’t easy as the roads are narrow one-way streets. Luckily we found a parking space at the train station but keep in mind that you keep an eye out for that when you make your way through the cape to the ocean. Another possibility is, in case that you would like to have lunch or dinner in one of the restaurants and bars, you can park your car on their parking area. Once you’ve successfully parked your car somewhere you can take the steps downstairs to one of the most amazing paths I’ve ever walked. Some tourists know about this place but not a lot so I guess it’s a real insider tip for you guys 🙂 There are some nice spots where you can sit down, soak in the sound of the waves and enjoy the sunshine and the view.

We even walked down this narrow way because I wanted to be as close to the ocean as possible.

Then I discovered this cool location and just had to take some snaps there 🙂

If you plan a trip to Monaco or Nice you should include the Sentier du Littoral on you must-see list. The photos have shown that it’s absolutely worth it, haven’t they?

Here is the address for your navigation system:

Avenue de la Garde, 06320 Cap-d’Ail or Avenue Raymond Gramaglia, 06320 Cap-d’Ail. I can’t give you the exact address because, as I said, the path isn’t accessible by car. Cap d’Ail is approx. 5 km from Monaco and approx. 19 km from Nice.

Love,
Alissa
