Primrose Hill London | LONDON L.A. LIFE

The north of London is one of my favorite areas in the British capital. By north I mean Primrose Hill and Hampstead Heath. Both parts are still part of London but it feels like you’re in a small town. Everything is so green and calm but when you take the tube or a bus you’re right in the busy streets of the city and that only within a 10-minute-tube-ride. That’s exactly what I love about London. The city is full of contrasts. On the one hand there are busy and crowded places like Piccadilly Circus, Oxford Street or Leicester Square and on the other hand London has lots of beautiful and blooming parks and rural areas like Primrose Hill. Every time I visit London and wanna escape the city and touristy spots I take the tube up north to Primrose Hill (tube station: Chalk Farm) or Hampstead Heath. Those places make me feel like a real Londoner and I feel even more at home in the city that conquered my heart back in 2012. If you wanna know what it feels like to be a Londoner make sure to visit PH or HH and after that tell me if you understand what I’m talking about. I just love the parks and little cafés there. People take their dogs for a walk, families go to the park to have a picnic and then there are people like me who are just there to take it all in and feel the real London life.

It was the perfect weather for a stroll through the neighborhood of Primrose Hill. Super sunny but a little bit chilly.
