So our third and last stop of our America trip was Vancouver. I would have never suggested to fly to Canada but since my sister went there for the first time she always wanted to go back and show my mum and me how beautiful British Columbia is. So “Canada here we come”.
We stayed in a hotel that is right in the centre of Vancouver on Robson Street – THE shopping street in Vancouver. The hotel was called Empire Landmark Hotel. The rooms are big, comfortable and when you’re lucky you can see the ocean, mountains and the streets of Vancouver from your room. Especially the view at night is stunning. If you’re not lucky enough you can go to the top floor of the hotel. The Cloud 9 Revolving Restaurant & Lounge offers the best view – trust me, it’s breathtaking. You’re gonna fall in love with Vancouver once you’ve been up there.

Another possibility to see Vancouver’s skyline etc. is to visit the Vancouver Lookout. For adults it costs $16.25 and for students it’s $11.25. Some of you might think that this is expensive but I can tell you that your ticket is valid for the whole day and you can return on that day as often as you like. I would recommend to see Vancouver at daytime and try to catch the moment of sunrise or sunset. Seeing the city from the perspective of the Vancouver Lookout is probably the best way to get a first impression of Vancouver. Take a look yourself! It’s stunning!

Have you ever been to Vancouver? If not you should think about it! It’s an amazing city. Stay tuned for more posts about Vancouver. There are still so many photos I’d like to show you 🙂

Have a lovely Sunday!

xx
