As promised in my last blog post here are some more details about my visit to the Sky Garden on 20 Fenchurch Street in London. When I first read about the Sky Garden I knew that I wanted to go there next time I visit London and that was during my Easter weekend a couple of weeks ago. You have to book the free tickets in advance so let them know on which day you’re going to visit and on which time. They also want to know how many people would like to visit so just type in all the information here and you’ll receive the tickets via e-mail. Just print them and present them to the staff when you arrive. There’s something like an airport check where they X-ray your bag. After that an elevator will take you to the top floor of the building. So now let me welcome you to the beautiful Sky Garden and the breaktaking view over one of the most amazing cities in the world….
This is what the interior looks like with the Sky Pod Bar and all the plants
This is the view from the balcony…
The Thames, Millenium Bridge & London Eye
London’s skyscrapers such as Tower 42 or the Gherkin
Tower Bridge and the Tower of London
Tower Bridge and City Hall
The Shard
The sunny but a bit foggy skyline
We could even see the skyscrapers of Canary Warf in the back…it was foggy as well and it seems like there was a thunderstorm gathering
Opening Times:
Open 7 days a week.
