Recently I found these questions on another blog and I thought it would be interesting for you to get to know more about the person behind LONDON L.A. LIFE. So here you go:
1.Do you have a middle name?
No. I just have a nickname. My family and relatives call me Lissy and also my sister’s friends…I don’t know why ;-). My friends call me Alissa though.
2. What was your favourite subject in school?
I’ve always been a fan of languages so I have to say English. I also studied French, Italian, Spanish and Chinese which I liked a lot.
3. What’s your favourite drink?
I have to admit that I never liked water when I was younger. Now I only drink still water and tea. My favourite is a typical English one: Yorkshire Tea with milk (no sugar!).
4. Favourite song at the moment?
That’s actually a difficult question as I always have a lot of favourite songs at the moment. Maybe I can tell you in general to which kind of music I listen to. It’s usually something like Pop but I also listen to Rock, R&B, HipHop, etc. so I’m really open for almost every genre. I’m a fan of artists and bands like Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Christina Aguilera, One Direction, Tori Kelly, John Mayer and loads more. I have also been to some of their concerts which was awesome!
5. What would you name your children?
I have a few names in mind but I haven’t decided for one yet.
6. Do you participate in any sports?
I used to do ballet, Kwon-Do and horse riding when I was younger. Now having a 40-hour-week job and my studies (I study “International Management” on the side) I don’t have a lot of time. When the weather is good I try and go for a run or do some in-line skating.
7. Favourite book?
Definitely all of Lindsey Kelk’s books! She’s my favourite author ever! Her books like “I Heart New York”, “I Heart Hollywood” or “I Heart London” are a perfect combination of travel literature and love stories. You can find out more about her books here. I can’t recommend them enough!
8. Favourite colour?
I really like colours such as turquoise or purple but when it comes to fashion it’s all about black. I like to wear some coloured highlights though.
9. Favourite animal?
Dolphins, elefants, tigers…it’s hard to pick only one.
10. Favourite perfume?
I really like “Coco Mademoiselle” by Chanel but also the fragrances of Christina Aguilera, Karl Lagerfeld and Heidi Klum are great and not that expensive.
11. Favourite holiday?
I love spending my summers at the Côte d’Azur but our trip to NYC, Los Angeles and Vancouver was definitely one of my highlights. Also my internship in London was a dream come true. I also always enjoy weekend trips to cities such as Paris, London or Rome. As you can see I’ve had a lot of favourite holidays 🙂
12. Have you graduated High School?
I graduated High School and after that I did my A-levels and then two apprenticeships to become a Foreign Language Correspondent for English and Spanish and a European Business Assistant. For me it’s always about internationality.
13. Have you been out of the country?
Yes, as I said I have been to countries like France, England, USA, Canada, Italy, the Netherlands, etc.
14. Do you speak any other languages?
German (my mother tongue) and English and a bit of French, Italian, Spanish and Chinese.
15. Do you have any siblings?
Yes, I have an older sister.
16. What’s your favourite store?
Karl Lagerfeld, Zara, Vero Moda, Mango, Forever 21, River Island, Topshop
17. Favourite restaurant?
I like any Italian restaurant as I am a huge fan of pizza and pasta.
18. Did you like school?
I always enjoyed being at school.
19. Favourite YouTubers?
All the British ones like Tanya Burr, Zoe and Joe Sugg, Alfie Deyes but also the America based ones such as Tyler Oakley, Troye Sivan, Connor Franta or Jc Caylen. And the SacconeJoly’s are great…such a cute little family!
20. Favourite movie?
This has to be “The Holiday”…oh and “Love Vegas” but watching “Home Alone 2” around Christmas is also one of my favourite things to do.
21. Favourite TV show?
Friends, Gossip Girl, Grey’s Anatomy, Dallas
22. Pc or Mac?
I’m a proud owner of a Macbook, iPad, iPhone and iPod…do I have to say more?
23. What phone do you have?
iPhone 4s.
24. How tall are you?
1,73 cm
