Every time before I visit London again I google if there are any special events at that time, e.g. film premieres at Leicester Square (more info here), markets, parties, exhibitions, festivals, concerts etc.

This year for July I found out about the Embankment Summer Market which takes place in Victoria Embankment Gardens. If you take the tube and get off at Embankment tube station it is just around the corner. It was the second year that it took place so apparently the Londoners loved it.
It is like a cute little summer garden party with different stalls that sell things like jewellery, self-made jam etc.
There is also food from places all over the world on offer, for example Mexican, Italian, German (yes even a little German food truck was there) and American food to eat on the spot.
They also had a stage for live music and look at all the sun loungers! How cool is that!?
There were even Lawn Games or you could just enjoy some time off on the lawn with some drinks and good food. A perfect summer day, right!?
I think it is the perfect spot if you’d like to have a little summer party in London 🙂
