Just WOW! I was actually speechless when I saw this beautiful beach and sunset in Malibu. The beach that I’m talking about and that is so breathtaking is called El Matador State Beach. I’ve heard about this beach before, probably through Instagram but when I googled the most beautiful beaches in Los Angeles this one was clearly the number one of the must see beaches.

Can you see why? It really is so so beautiful!!!

It is located about 10 miles northwest of Malibu and if you take the Pacific Coast Highway from LA you already get rewarded with the stunning and panoramic views over the Pacific ocean on the way to the beach so make sure to take that road.

Discover Los Angeles says it “has rocky shores, robust waves and some of the clearest water in LA” and they also put it in the “hopeless romantic” category. I totally agree because it is a natural beach with hidden coves and the perfect place for romantic beach walks and amazing sunrises and sunsets with the famous pink (and yellow and orange) skies.

It is such a dreamy place, a real Californian dream 🙂

Beach walks there are the best!

And the best way to end this blog post is with lyrics of the song “Pink Skies” by my favorite band LANY:
“Get ya under pink skies I know exactly where we should go
‘cause I love the way your green eyes mix with that Malibu indigo
talking under pink skies I think our hearts are starting to show
that it’s better you and I under pink skies”

Have you been to that beach? Let me know in the comments below! Or if you’ve been to Los Angeles let me know what your favorite beach was 🙂

Here’s the address for your navigation system: 32100 Pacific Coast Highway Malibu, CA 90265.
