I just got back from the world’s biggest fair for campers and caravans. I’m not a huge fan of camping but it’s a lot of fun to see all the different vehicles, especially from inside. This is the extrance of the fair buildung in Düsseldorf.
The first exhibition hall informed the visitors about the different holiday destinations.
And the other halls were filled with a lot of different campers and caravans. Some small and cosy ones such as the famous VW bus which always reminds me of the good old times when the hippies travelled through America in the 70s.
And then there were some modern ones with some cool interior fittings.
Here is one of the awkward mirror photos that I usually never take but I wanted to give you some outfit details…
Top: H&M – Skirt: Forever 21 – Bag: Karl Lagerfeld – Necklace: Bones + Feathers x Tori Kelly – Watch: Olivia Burton London
In one of the exhibition halls was a stage from one of the exhibitors. Patricia Kelly, one of my biggest inspirations of all time was invited by Dethleffs for an interview and afterwards we got the chance to meet her. But before I show you the photos let me explain who Patricia Kelly is. Patricia is one of the members of the famous Kelly Family. In the 90s they were one of the most successful bands in Europe. My family took me to my first Kelly concert when I was 5 years old and since then I’ve been to several concerts. After playing huge concert halls and stadiums it’s great that after all the years the hype has faded a bit and nowadays we always get the chance to meet her and take selfies after her solo concerts. I love being able to talk to her in person. She is one of the loveliest and nicest persons I know. Patricia is a huge inspiration and role model for me and it’s always a pleasure to meet her. Here are some photos of her interview and her performing one of her famous songs.
And then I finally got to meet her again (don’t look at my almost closed eyes ;-)), talk to her, take a photo and I also got an autograph. As I said, it’s always great to meet her and I can’t wait to see her again at her concert in Essen in three weeks 🙂 For more information about Patricia Kelly take a look at her website or follow her on Facebook and Instagram.
After another amazing Meet & Greet we made our way to the last exhibition halls. The caravans and campers there were huge! They weren’t even campers anymore, they were massive trucks that cost a lot of money and in some of them even fit cars. Now take a look yourself.
The fair is open until 6 September. For more information click here.

Alissa
