In today’s blog post I’d like to share an insider tip for Paris with you guys. So if you’ve been to Paris a couple of times and you’d like to see something else apart from the main sights I tell you where to go right now 🙂 London has ‘Little Venice’, Los Angeles has the ‘Venice Canals’ and the Venice of Paris is ‘Canal Saint-Martin’. The canal is an artificial waterway which has been constructed in 1802 on a request from Napoleon I. The canal is 4.5 km long and half of it flows underground. Nowadays it’s popular with Parisians and tourists. There are several little cafés and restaurants along the canal. Click here to see its location on a map.DSCN1593

I loved exploring a new side of Paris, especially on such a sunny and warm day. Have you already been there? If not put it on the list for your next trip to Paris.

Lots of love

xx
